1 jar of grape leaves
2 lbs of ground beef
1.5 cups of long grain rice
1 medium onion chopped
1 cup of chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste (Approximately 2 teaspoons)
Lay the grape leave on a cutting board smooth side down
Use a spoon to place a scoop of filling in the middle of each grape leave
Close the sides over the filling and roll to desired shape
(Note : if grape leave is too small, add a second on top and roll as one)
Add rolled grape leaves to a pot. Place 2 dinner plates upside down over the grape leaves to keep them from floating.
Add hot water to cover all the grape leaves and cook on medium-low heat for 45 minutes
